Those who do the work of restorative justice become “restored” themselves.

Eco Peace Delegation to Israel/Palestine: Building Sustainable Peace in the Negev

In partnership with BUSTAN, an Israeli Jewish/Bedouin organization, the group will participate in a green permaculture project in the Negev Desert and bear witness to the beauty and resourcefulness of the land and its inhabitants.  We will listen to the stories, honor the resources of the land and educate ourselves about the political landscape of the region.  Upon our return home, we will share what we learned with others.

There are many ways to participate in or support this project:

1.)  Your financial contributions are needed and are tax deductible.  Funds collected will go towards green building supplies for the permaculture project in which the delegation will be engaged directly, support of BUSTAN's on-going projects and travel assistance.

2.) Volunteer by joining the organizing committee or JPC club at Howard Community College in Columbia, MD

3.) Attend one of the many upcoming events to learn more about the project.

4.) Join the delegation!  Don't miss this opportunity to work for social justice in the MIddle East while learning skills of sustainable living and do some touring, too!.  The cost of the trip will be about $2500.  Some scholarship money will be available.
